Melon Sorbet

Since I am pregnant, I have been eating lots of honeydew melon (and bananas) to keep my weight in control (but that's another story..). So to make an alternative to eating it alone, I decided to make Melon Sorbet, altering a recipe I found at http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/melon-sorbet-recipe/reviews/index.html
It turned out to be delicious and it also satisfied my husband's appetite for sweets and as a bonus, it is also healthy.

This is my version:

Ingredients

3 cups melon/honeydew, cut into small pieces
¼ cup sugar
3 TBS freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/8 TS salt

Directions

Place the fruit in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth.
Add the lemon juice, sugar and salt and process for another 30 seconds.
Place the mixture into the freezer until the mixture is firm.

Pour the frozen mixture into the bowl of  a food processor and process again.
Store in the freezer.

Enjoy!

PS: no picture for now.. I still have to find my camera first :(
